It is possible for holders of high school equivalency certificates to be given individual consideration for admission. The admissions criteria are the same for public and private school applicants. In selecting the freshman class, decisions are based upon the candidate’s academic record and scores on the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) of the College Entrance Examination Board or the American College Test (ACT) of the American College Testing Service.
